VIATeC Environmental Excellence Award
VICTORIA, BC - Iain Muir President of
Petro Barrier Systems Inc is pleased to announce that the Marine Guard P3
system is one of the finalists for the 2008 VIATeC Technology Award in
the Environmental Excellence category. The Marine Guard P3 system was
installed at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club in May 2007. The performance has
surpassed the CRD regulations, the Federal Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans
requirement and the Clean Marine standards making RVYC a leader in the
environment protection of the foreshore and area marine life.
The
Marine Guard P3 system incorporates
a pre-filter, a proprietary oil water separator, two polishing filters using the
patent Muir Lock Monster technology and storm drain filters all of which are
designed and built by Petro Barrier Systems.
Muir says the mission of Petro Barrier Systems
Inc. is dedicated to the protection of oceans, lakes, rivers and other water
systems from contaminants harmful to aquatic life.

The Muir Lock Monster Released!
VICTORIA, BC - At the Ontario Marine Operators
Association (OMOA) Conference and Trade Show (December 4th, 2007) the patented
Muir Lock Monster Technology will be exposed. This technology is presently used
to protect our fresh water in Ontario lakes and rivers and for the protection of
the Pacific Ocean waters off the coast of British Columbia.
Iain Muir, inventor of the Muir Lock Monster
Technology, will demonstrate how all marinas can protect their environment and
clean their waste water. Iain's mission in life is to be dedicated to the
protection of oceans, lakes, rivers and other water systems from contaminants
harmful to aquatic life.
